Effective Date: January 13, 2025 These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the services provided by Jay Gurudev Packers & Movers ("we," "our," or "us") to you ("customer," "you," or "your"). By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. 1. Services Provided Jay Gurudev Packers & Movers offers packing, moving, and relocation services for residential and commercial clients. Our services include but are not limited to: Packing and unpacking of goods Loading and unloading of goods Transporting goods to the specified destination Temporary storage services (if available) 2. Booking and Confirmation To book our services, you must provide accurate details about the items to be moved, including pickup and delivery locations, the size of the move, and any special requirements. Your booking will be confirmed once we receive your request and provide you with an estimate. A confirmation email or message will be sent to you. 3. Payment Terms Payments must be made in full or as per the agreed payment schedule prior to or on the day of the move. Payment can be made by cash, credit/debit card, or other methods as specified by us. The total cost is determined based on the services provided, distance, volume/weight of items, and any additional services requested. 4. Customer Responsibilities Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and complete details regarding the items to be moved, including any fragile, valuable, or hazardous goods. Packing and Labeling: It is your responsibility to pack all items that require special attention, including but not limited to breakable items, electronics, and valuables. We may assist with packing at an additional cost. Access and Parking: You must ensure that adequate access is provided at both pickup and delivery locations for our moving team and vehicles. Permits and Permissions: You are responsible for securing any necessary permits for parking, access, or special conditions that may apply at your locations. 5. Liability and Insurance We will take reasonable care of your goods during the move, but we are not liable for any damage or loss caused by external factors such as accidents, weather conditions, or force majeure events. You may opt for additional insurance coverage for your items. We recommend that high-value items be insured separately. Any claims for damage or loss must be reported immediately upon delivery and must be supported with photographic evidence. 6. Cancellation and Rescheduling You may cancel or reschedule your booking at least 48 hours before the scheduled move time for a full refund, minus any applicable administrative fees. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled move will be subject to a cancellation fee, as determined by us. 7. Restrictions on Goods We do not move hazardous materials, including but not limited to flammable, explosive, or toxic substances. We may refuse to move certain items that we deem unsafe or prohibited by law, including live plants, animals, or perishable goods. 8. Force Majeure We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, transportation delays, government actions, or unforeseen events. 9. Indemnity You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jay Gurudev Packers & Movers, its employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms & Conditions or your actions during the moving process. 10. Dispute Resolution Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be resolved through negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it may be referred to mediation or arbitration, in accordance with applicable laws. 11. Amendments We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to you through our website, email, or other appropriate means. It is your responsibility to review these Terms & Conditions periodically. 12. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
